February is Heart Month!

Have you heard February is Heart Month!  What in the heck does that mean.  Have a heart?  Have a Healthy Heart?  I found all kinds of stats (LOL!) and the stats are not pretty!  For instance:

 

Every 7 minutes in Canada, someone dies from heart disease or stroke.

Heart disease and stroke are two of the three leading causes of death in Canada. These statistics are based on 2008 data (the latest year available from Statistics Canada).1

In 2007, 1.3 million Canadians (4.8% of Canadians – 4.2% of girls and women and 5.3% of boys and men 12 years of age and older) reported having heart disease.2       

 

Yet on this page there is no information on avoiding Heart disease or living with a Healthy Heart!  Imagine that no ideas for help.

Why Network Marketing?

As I sit considering this post what comes to mind is Why Network Marketing?  I have not worked in Corporate North America in many, many years!  At the time I was downsized, well that is what they were calling it at that time and in fact I think it is still called that?  Isn’t it?  Well it doesn’t really matter what it is called it sucks!  You have good work ethics, show up everyday, do your job to the best of your ability and yet you get called in to be told you no longer have a position with the company.  Job security right!  I had already began to consider why network marketing was a great idea for a business, have you ever thought about the positive benefits of why network marketing would be of benefit for you?

Yet when you offer the same people a network marketing opportunity that have been in the same position a chance to be in their own business, yet be a part of a business team they say no.  They tell you they want job security.  They want a real business.  Really!  A business that ties you down to one location, with generally a large debt, employees, a great deal of time committment, stress?  That does not sound like a fun way to do business to me.

Let me tell you there is no job security today and in fact we are in the era when learning how to create income must be done in new ways.  It is that simple.

Now I am not telling you for a minute that Network Marketing  will be easy, simple or the money will roll in by the bucket from day 1.  It does require work, showing up, having a good work ethic, doing your job, working as a part of a team, learning all you can about business and your business!  Kinds sounds like something most of us have experience in, doesn’t it.  Yet you will not be fired from this job because you are the Boss!  You get to actually pick who you want to work with!  Now that doesn’t sound like any job I have had does it for you?  You actually get to pick where you work from.  Working from a home based business is the most popular location people work their  Network Marketing business however if you want you can have an office to go to you can!  The point is you get the choice in when starting your own business.

Network Marketing a business opportunity to work from home!

I was introduced to the Network Marketing business concept when I was in my early 20′s!  I sold a bit of product and not much more than that.  It was a long time ago, an industry in it’s early stages and I don’t think I got it.  At that time it was ok that I didn’t get it.  On with life I went.  I worked in a family business which can be very difficult and for me it was.

After a while I got fed up and went out on my own.  Doing the same work but working for myself as a Sales Agent.  In fact I really wasn’t working for myself and in a couple of years it became very apparent.  The president began telling me when I was allowed to take holidays, the manager was not very good at her job and it was not fun for me to work there.

At that time I was re-introduced to Network Marketing!  This time I was very interested in what I saw.  I had always been really skeptical.  You know losers only did Network Marketing.  People that chased friends, family and neighbors around the block trying to sell them stuff that really wasn’t very good.  LOL!  Boy was I wrong.  To me Network Marketing is a chance to help people, in my case with improving their health just like my health improved and adding income with a work from home business! Is is very simple and Network Marketing is a business model thats time has come!
